The 5K Course: The course has very little elevation change, is accurately measured, and will have mile markers. The majority of the course is on trail with some open areas for better passing. Proper athletic attire and footwear are required. This is a natural trail with some exposed roots and occasional sharp turns. The course starts and finishes in the parking lot of the Lund Ave entrance to the park.
This is NOT a wheel friendly course. Baby joggers and wheelchairs will need to stay in the back and use caution.
The 1 Mile Course: The one mile course is all flat. It follows the same course as the 5K, then it cuts back into the finish from the Jackson Parking lot to the finish.
Volunteers needed - Don't want to run the course? How about volunteering. Its fun and easy. No experience necessary. Send an e-mail to email@example.com to sign up.
